[16. Aug. 2010] Welcome to our new staff in Bogor and Padang!
Edith, who has a background in Forest Resources Conservation & Ecotourism, is not entirely new to the programme. She has already worked as a research assistant in one of our macaque projects on Siberut, where she gained important insights into how SCP operates. She is based at IPB, our partner institution in Indonesia, where she takes care of virtually all aspects pertaining to the collaboration of DPZ and IPB.
Feri is running SCP's field office in Padang, where, amongst other things, he takes care of the day-to-day administrative tasks, arranges the visits of researchers and other guests to Siberut and provides logistic support for the island. Feri was transferred to this new post, from his previous position as SCP's "Field Finance Officer"; thus, he has already a lot of experience with our programme.
