[08. Aug. 2010] SCP teams up with Siberut-based organisation PASIH...
'Perkumpulan Siberut Hijau (PASIH)' is a non-governmental and community-based organization, working to create sustainable natural resource management on Siberut Island. The organisation focuses its activities on capacity building, promoting and disseminating information, and transferring environmental friendly technology for community livelihood improvement.
PASIH assists SCP on Siberut by providing management & logistic support for Politcioman and the Pungut field station, while at the same time strengthening the linkages to various other stakeholders on Siberut.
The organisation has started its work in early August, and we are all looking forward to a fruitful collaboration.
